Orem residents will soon have a chance to express their patriotism at a fun-filled event close to home.

Although Murdock Canal Trail is scheduled to be completed well in advance of its estimated completion date, Utah officials want to stress to the public that the trail is not quite ready to be used yet.

The Provo Halloween Half Marathon is the largest race of its kind in Utah County and the second biggest half marathon in all of Utah. During this years run, which takes place tomorrow, half marathon participants are encouraged to wear a costume and bring a friend.
